KITCHEN TAKE OUT
We’re all looking for ways to connect to one another + torah now.
MONDAYS
7 PM: The Bench (Every other week) / R. Jessica Kate Meyer / Singing your heart out / Open to all
The Bench goes virtual, but never loses soul. Come sing together on zoom. We can see each other, but will need to press mute this time due to the pesky ‘lag’ in videoconferencing. Please compensate by singing super loud in your home. Really really loud. *And if anyone in the tech industry can hear us, please figure out how to eradicate the ‘lag’ so that we don’t have to press mute next time!
UPCOMING DATE: 8.10, 8.24

This group is open to different levels of experience with racial justice. Contact Kitchen member Sara Beth Hoffman for more information.

We’re collecting things that are especially helpful now.
There are over 5,000 folks living unsheltered on San Francisco’s streets, and they need to be moved into hotel rooms immediately so that they can safely shelter-in-place and ride COVID-19 out with the rest of us. Until that happens, tents are the safest alternative, and we still need help getting them out to our comrades on the streets. The Coalition on Homelessness has set up a GoFundMe so folds can donate directly into a tent purchase fund. Here are two places where you can help with tents: Donations for Tents or Faithful Fools (designate for tents).
